Tue, 03/02/2010 - 02:33 Hi, how are you? Okay heres my deal, I have an 22" Acer Monitor that has only two inputs which are standard analog input and DVI input, I have a Playstation 3 that came with a HDMI to DVI-D cable; this cable of course is connected between my monitor and my Ps3. So that gives crystal clear picture, but there is no sound since the Acer monitor does not have speakers installed on it. So I Have the Klipsch Pro-Media 2.1 Speakers, and I also bought a TosLink Optical Cable to connect directly from the Ps3, to the Pro-Media 2.1 speakers, the speakers do not have a optical input so i installed a 3.5 Mini-jack converter to the Optical cable, I adjusted the settings on the Ps3 Audi settings Menu for Optical Audio Output, however I'm still not receiving any signal(Sound) from the speakers, Would you have a suggestion? Thanks so much.
