Tue, 03/23/2010 - 05:36 i have the same wavey screen problem (hope im correct) but anyway when i turn on my PS3 it has the same little PS3 symbol, all the normal stuff that happens, but then once i think im gonna play a game, the main menu wont pop up so that i can transition into play Modern Warfare 2. i checked MW2 disk, it's clean. it's just the same wave in the background. i found that it was over heating, so i unplugged it let it sit, then tried again. same thing happens then i try putting a fan next to it, turn on fan, unplug, let it sit. still the same thing. idk if it fryed somthing in there, ive screwed around with HDMI still the same stuff. i dont wanna screw it all open because i just might mess up more things. idk wat else to do, ive moved it to different tv still the same problem. someone please figure out a solution so i can play my games again
